Heads Up: Canada-U.S. Tariff Updates

Since we're a Canadian shop, we wanted to keep you informed (to the best of our ability) about some recent changes in the trade relationship between Canada and the U.S.

Orders being shipped to the United States may be subject to tariffs (import taxes) upon arrival. Please note that these taxes are not included in the total order amount, as they are assessed and collected by the destination country.

Previously, orders under $800 shipped to the U.S. were exempt from duties. However, due to the evolving nature of these negotiations, we cannot provide a specific timeline for when or if this will change.

We remain hopeful that these tariff changes will be resolved soon. While we’ll do our best to keep you informed, the situation is still evolving, so we strongly recommend checking for the latest updates before placing your order.

We strive to process new orders in the most timely manner possible. Our current processing time is 1-7 business days.

Processing time is the time it takes us to process your order prior to shipment and may vary during high volume sales events. We may require the full allotted processing time where orders may ship the following business day; thank you for your patience!

Shipping Methods

We are pleased to offer free shipping within Canada & to the USA (for orders over $75 CAD). There may be additional shipping fees that will be calculated based on order total and destination address.

  • International orders may be delayed due to postal processing/customs/local strikes/etc.
  • Buyers are responsible for all additional international shipping charges such as duties, taxes, etc.
  • Shipping is offered to our customers at a flat rate which includes postage and packaging materials and may not reflect the exact postage stated on the package. Refunds for shipping will not be given, nor will you be asked to pay for additional shipping should it be required.

Shipping Times

Shipping times may vary depending upon which shipping method is selected at checkout.

Please be aware that there may be shipping delays. This could be due to a various reasons such as holidays, inclement weather conditions, customs processing, postal service disruptions, etc. Due to this, we kindly ask for your patience while your order makes it's way to you. If you have not received your order 2 weeks after the standard estimated delivery window has passed (as shown below), you may contact us at support@whitedeerstationery.com.

International countries with lower mail deliveries from Canada Post may have longer delivery times with shipping estimates being close to 35-45 business days.

Standard Shipping Estimates:

Within Canada: 3-15 business days
United States: 4-25 business days
International: 6-35 business days

 

Lost Packages

Please be aware that there may be shipping delays. Due to this, we kindly ask for your patience while your order makes it's way to you. If you have not received your order 2 weeks after the standard estimated delivery window (as shown below) has passed, you may contact us at support@whitedeerstationery.com.

Please purchase the "upgraded shipping" option at checkout for tracking and insurance on your package. If this option is not purchased, the buyer is responsible for any possible costs to re-ship.

International Orders

Regrettably, we are currently unable to ship to the United Kingdom.

Unfortunately, White Deer Stationery cannot be held responsible for any damaged items shipped through a forward shipping company and any associated initial and/or return shipping costs.
